Hidden Villa w/ Pool & waterfall

A great out of the way location to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Positive: It was in the middle of Pine Ridge Forrest and was super beautiful both outside and in. We loved the plunge pool and the back porch with lots of seating. We opened up the whole house to get a good breeze flowing through the house since there is no AC - but at the time of year we went, we didn't really need AC. You have to be prepared with food because there isn't a grocery store nearby - we planned well so we were all good. The private waterfall and swimming hole was really cool to walk down to and enjoy. The hostess was very helpful from start to finish. Negative: No real complaints.

Goregous views, comfortable home, incredible place to stay! Positive: This home is AMAZING! I did not even realize from the listing just how incredible this place would be. This was our favorite place of the 4 places we stayed in Belize. Our only regret was that we had not booked it for longer. The house is beautiful, the king bed in the master is like sleeping on a cloud. The screened-in porch and pool area have breathtaking views, and the sounds of the rushing river down below are so peaceful to fall asleep to. The house is completely off-grid, all solar and rainwater collection. We had no issues with energy or hot water. The host has very thoughtfully curated this property, complete with pool towels, bird watching bonoculars and card games. The kitchen was well stocked, including staple items like tinfoil, plastic wrap, cooking oil, salt, pepper, and other basic spices. The trail down to the river and waterfalls is well-marked and located directly off the side of the house. We hiked to Big Rock Falls from the house and played in the river every day. The washer and dryer were also very helpful. You will have the most incredible stay here. We hope we will get to visit again someday! Negative: Finding this property is a little tricky. I suggest not doing it in the dark, as I did. Google Maps will take you to the Pine Ridge lodge (across the river from the house) and then instruct you to walk to the pin. This is because Google does not know that the road into this property exists. There are a lot of places with the name "Pine Ridge" in them in the area. This can make it confusing to ask anyone local for assistance. I was emailed driving instructions, but still got lost. It is important to pay attention to the names of the bridges you are crossing, as you will be crossing 2. The second bridge is the privassion bridge, and just after you cross it, the very rustic dirt road will be on your right. The driveway is steep and narrow as well. You will be in the woods in the middle of nowhere...just how we like it:)
